Big Sean on His Depression and Anxiety – White Woman Calls Cops On Black Kid Selling Water

*Big Sean has revealed that depression and anxiety were key factors in his decision to cancel his Unfriendly Reminder Tour.

In a wide-ranging chat with Billboard published Friday, Sean reaffirmed his commitment to staying in the studio until his next album is as strong as possible, saying he “had some things to work out in my head…I never really took the time out to nurture myself, to take care of myself. It took me a lot of depression [and] having a lot of anxiety to realize something was off,” he explained. “I’ve been getting myself together, getting my mind right. So I have been taking better care of myself and…not only am I bringing my best self to the music but I’m bringing my best self to the table, to my city, to my fans, to the people who are about me.”
Fans shouldn’t expect an album announcement just yet. “I’m not 100 percent ready,” Sean said.

In February, Sean told fans he was in a “deep creative space” and had decided to postpone the tour. In April, the tour was officially canceled.

First, we had #BBQBecky and then #SupremacistSarah and now we have #PermitPatty, the latest white woman to not mind her business while occupying a space with black folks.

When an 8-year-old girl was selling water bottles outside of her mother’s home in San Francisco, Permit Patty decided to call the cops because the little girl didn’t have a permit. But when she realized she could become the next Twitter meme, Ettel attempts to hide from the cameras.

Peep the clip above.

The online sleuths quickly identified her as Alison Ettel, CEO of a weed dispensary called Treatwell Tinctures. She profits from a drug that put so many people of color behind bars, and some online reports claim she doesn’t have a permit to sell her goods.

Ettel tells Leafly she didn’t really call the cops on the 8-year-old girl selling water, she only pretended to do so, but the damage has been done.

The #PermitPatty video has gone viral and some California stores are now pulling her company’s cannabis products.
