*Can you say “uncomfortable” and “confrontation?” Those would be the words that describe the situation that was caught on video between Drake and Shiggy, the man responsible for the #InMyFeelingsChallenge (#DoThe Shiggy). You see, there’s a rumor that’s got the net ablaze with talk that Drake cut Shiggy a check for $250 grand as away of saying thanks for helping the song and his album, Scorpion, reach the stratosphere
Although some say the video is a set up/joke between the two, it’s clear from the video below, Shiggy ain’t got his chedda and he has no problem inquiring as to what the ETA is.
“Yo, what’s up, bro?” Shiggy says. “I heard you gave me 250. I don’t know where my check is at, bro.”
As seemingly shaken Drake blames the delay on international matters and a delayed wire transfer.
“When I called Universal, they said, like, it’s international from Canada to New York so it’s on the way . . . It’s on the way, baby, It’s on the way,” he said. “You know what happens, I don’t know if you’ve ever sent out a wire, but when you send out a wire, it’s basically seven to ten days.”
