R. Kelly on His Sex Cult Allegations: ‘They Should Have Did This Sh*t 30 Years Ago’ [Video]

*R. Kelly has chosen to remain quiet amid the mounting allegations of sexual assault, kidnapping, and other heinous and pervert acts.

Now, a new video has surfaced online of Kelly dismissing his critics and those who wish to see an end to his career because of his alleged inappropriate relationship with young women.

“It’s too late, they should have did this shit 30 years ago,” Kelly says in the clip above, seemingly referring to movements like #MuteRKelly, which has called for his banishment from the music industry.

“I’ve got a million motherfuckers hating me, and 40 billion motherfuckers loving me,” he adds.

As noted by spin.com, the video shows Kelly speaking to a group of men that includes former NBA forward Antoine Walker. After Kelly’s toast, Walker gives his own speech in support of the R&B singer.

The video was first posted on May 18, by a Chicagoan named Remus Jackson IV, who can be seen narrating the video at times.

The clip gained wider notice after it was uploaded to Twitter and Facebook by an attorney and media personality Exavier Pope, who told Spin he first saw the video on Facebook and decided to record it from Facebook Live and upload it to Twitter because he “deemed it extremely newsworthy.”

“I want to propose a toast to all the strong motherfuckers in here right now,” Kelly says to finish his speech in the video. “Motherfuckers like you is why I still continue to do, because I have a basketball mentality. As long as I got the ball, the world is on defense.”

Meanwhile, variety.com reports that R. Kelly’s streaming numbers went up after Spotify announced its new policy against hate content and hateful conduct.
