Denzel Brings Out the Stars at ‘The Equalizer 2’ Premiere (EUR Exclusive!)

*Tuesday night (07-17-18) in Hollywood major stars came out for the premiere of Denzel Washington’s first ever sequel, “Equalizer 2” at the TCL Chinese Theater on Holywood Blvd. Even one of the all time greatest NBA centers, Kareem Abdul Jabbar was there to support the 2-time Academy Award winner as well as Wesley Snipes, Larenz Tate, Ludacris, Michael Ealy, LL Cool J and more.

“American Horror Story” actress and Emmy nominee, Adina Porter stepped on the carpet to tell us that she was thrilled to be there.

“I just love being invited to the party,” Porter said. “ And being included in this world of actors who’ve been around for a while and working and reinventing themselves so I’m thrilled to be apart of it all.”

Eight year old actress Rhys Cote who plays Anna in the film said that her best part in making the film was getting a picture with Denzel.

Just as everyone else, Netflix’s Glow Emmy nominee, Britney Young was stunned to hear that Equalizer 2 was his first sequel.

“Denzel is always amazing,” Young said. This is his first sequel in his career…like in my mind I was like no I’m going to prove this wrong.”

Actor Jay Hieron who plays one of the bad CIA agents assigned to kill  Denzel’s character Robert McCall said that Denzel was deep in character when they met and would not even speak to him.

“He was in character when I first met him…..he was deep in character and really didn’t talk to me at first which is cool because that made my level come up and I was like…oh ok we’re going at it right now”, Hieron said.

The beautiful and lovely actress Garcelle Beauvais also stopped by to talk  with us about her love for Denzel’s work.

“I am so excited, he is such a professional and he goes there and these kinds of roles he just…..I mean there is not a role that Denzel doesn’t crush, but these kinds of badass he takes it to a whole different level.

As expected, when Denzel arrived fans were screaming to the top of their lungs and it was ‘no holds barred’ with the media gathering around for pictures and interviews, but our correspondent Jay Styles managed to get his one question with Denzel and asked him if is considering taking a Lyft to see Lebron play for the Lakers at Staples Center since he is now familiar with the app after studying the app service in preparation for his role.
