*”Power” actor 50 Cent dropped by “The View” on Tuesday and the panel asked him about his recent Instagram post mocking Terry Crews’s reaction to being sexually assaulted.
While claiming that he would “never make fun of any sexual assault victim,” 50 effectively doubled down on his post.
50 mocked Crews the same day Terry testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee regarding his assault. The post featured a picture of a shirtless Crews flexing with an overlaying caption: “I got raped my wife just watched,” as well as a picture of Crews with a rose in his mouth with the overlaying caption: “Gym time.”
Additionally, 50 Cent wrote: “LOL. What the fuck is going on out here man? Terry: I froze in fear, they would have had to take me to jail. get the strap.”

When asked “what he learned” from the incident, 50 said: “I would never make fun of any sexual assault victim. I wasn’t looking at Terry Crews that way at that point. I’m looking at the Hulk…the guy that’s this big that’s being taken advantage of. When the males that are here now, if you asked them if someone touched them without their consent, would they go, ‘Yo, whatchu doin’?’”
After Whoopi Goldberg pointed out that such situations are complicated, 50 conceded, “I wouldn’t be prepared for it either.”
Also on the episode, the panel discussed LL Cool J’s recent comments regarding misogynistic hip-hop in the #MeToo era.
Joy Behar suggested that if rappers, “Write love-song raps, it might make a lot of money,” and Meghan McCain claiming that she likes “filthy music.”
“I listen to it all the time. Helps get me in a good headspace when I exercise, get ready for work. I like cursing, I like filthy lyrics, I love it,” she said.
The panel then asked 50 about his stance on this issue and he noted that rappers “have a limited range of writing…or they would have to study to write things that are socially the right thing.”
