*Jerry Seinfeld believes that ABC was doing the most when it fired fellow comic Roseanne Barr over her tweet that compared a black woman to an ape.

In an interview with ET Monday about the season premiere of his “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” on Netflix, the 64-year-old said: “I didn’t see why it was necessary to fire her. Why would you murder someone who’s committing suicide?”

“But I never saw someone ruin their entire career with one button push,” he added. “That was fresh.”

Seinfeld also said he thought that ABC should’ve just hired another female comedian to play Barr’s part.

“I think they should get another Roseanne,” he advised. “They brought Dan Conner back, he was dead and they brought him back. So, why can’t we get another Roseanne? There’s other funny women that could do that part. You need to get the comic in there. I hate to see a comic lose a job.”

  1. When these people who spout ridiculous racist statements start losing their jobs and opportunities to get paid, maybe they will start to see the error of their ways. Otherwise, accepting a lame apology won’t make a difference to them. They will just say anything, apologize brush their shoulders off and live to make racist remarks another day. In the book ‘The Art of War’ the king told the concubines to dance for him. One of the lead concubines refused to do what she was told and the king cut off her head in front of everybody! Guess what the other concubines did? They did what the fk the king said to do.
