*OK, let’s just get right to it. “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” lives up to its raptors’ reputation of raging dinosaurs in a world ruled by greed and no respect for the environment, bottom line.
They say fact is stranger than fiction and this is the case with the dinosaurs in “Fallen Kingdom.” They are being removed from the fictional island of Isla Nublar that is on the verge of being destroyed by fiery volcanoes.
The suspense is heightened when the genetically engineered dinos are relocated to the estate of Benjamin Lockwood (James Cromwell), who was involved in the development of the original park.
Helping in that relocation to Lockwood’s estate was raptor wrangler Owen (Chris Pratt), dinosaur-rights activist Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard), and Systems Analyst Franklin (Justice Smith). Once the prehistoric pawns in a heinous plan to breed animal war machines at Lockwood’s mansion went awry, all hell broke loose.
Chaos theorist Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) returns with his doom and gloom predictions that, of course, are not be taken seriously. I wonder what ever happened to his black daughter Kelly (Vanessa Lee Chester) in “The Lost World: Jurassic Park.”
Directed by J.A. Bayona, the film also stars Toby Jones, Ted Levine, Rafe Spall, and BD Wong.
