XXXTentacion’s Family Believes He Was Targeted for Murder; Soldier Kidd & Soldier JoJo Deny Involvement

XXXTentacion

*The family of rapper XXXTentacion insist that his death was the result of a targeted hit, and not a robbery gone wrong, as police claim, reports The Blast.

Officials believe the suspects made off with a Louis Vuitton bag, but sources close to the family say they him aren’t buying the robbery story and believe investigators should be looking into who would want him dead.

The 20-year-old rising star, whose real name is Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, was pronounced dead Monday evening at a Fort Lauderdale-area hospital, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said. He was shot earlier outside a Deerfield Beach motorcycle dealership.

XXXTentacion had been at RIVA Motorsports checking out inventory, sheriff’s public information officer Keyla Concepcion said. He was in a black BMW i8 and preparing to leave before 4 p.m. when two armed suspects approached him. At least one of them fired, and then both suspects fled the scene in a dark SUV, Concepcion said.

Investigators don’t have a motive, and no arrests have been made, but officials believe the suspects are two black males, both wearing purple hoodies with long sleeves, according to TMZ. The shooter allegedly wore a red mask.

Minutes after XXXTentacion’s death was announced, his family members reportedly caused a scene outside of the hospital where his body was brought.

According to emergency dispatch audio obtained by The Blast, a deputy was calling for backup because “a lot of family members on both sides” were arguing outside the main entrance to emergency room minutes after the rapper arrived via ambulance.

The deputy noted that she was the only official on scene and was worried about the situation outside the hospital escalating. After a short while, the deputy relayed the information that “half of the party went inside” while the other half stayed in the parking lot, however she warned that the growing crowd of fans and media outside the hospital was “getting a little rowdy.”

The entertainer, who sported dreadlocks and a number of facial tattoos, was a rising star and notched a No. 1 album in March with his sophomore effort “?” and had a top 10 hit with “Sad!” but was facing trial on charges that he beat up his pregnant girlfriend.
