*Well that was nice of her. But maybe she thought it was her daddy’s star. We’re talking about Paris Jackson who took to Instagram to post a picture of herself cleaning up a Michael Jackson star on the Walk of Fame. Here’s the rub. If you’re thinking it was her father’s star you’re wrong.
You see, in this case, even though the name “Michael Jackson” is written on the star, it’s not her late father, singer/entertainer, Michael Jackson, but a radio personality with the same name. You see, this Michael Jackson star has a logo for a radio credit is placed under his name.
Here’s the deal: When a star is placed on the Walk of Fame, the person’s job category is placed under their name. For example, if the person is a singer, there is a music record icon, symbolizing that he made music.
Interestingly, the “Michael Jackson” star that Paris cleaned up this week has a radio logo underneath the name, symbolizing that radio commentator Michael Jackson was being honored for that star. Jackson was a radio host that had a show on local LA radio station KABC.
Regardless, whether Paris was aware of that or not, she cleaned the vandalized star of the man that shares the same name as her father.
“some people have no f***ing respect. i understand that there is a difference between the radio emblem and the record, but a name is a name,” she wrote as the caption for the picture of her cleaning the mess.
