Man Suing Justin Bieber Over 2016 Fight Claims He Used N-Word as Form of Humiliation

*A man currently suing Justin Beiber over their 2016 scrap in Cleveland after an NBA finals game has filed a new statement claiming the singer threw the N-word along with his alleged punches, reports The Blast.

According to a new statement from Tobias Cannon’s legal team, they claim “Justin Bieber has a history of inappropriate behavior.” The attorney says Bieber is “fortunate” Cannon did “not engage in mutual combat,” and claim the singer used the “N-word” to insult and humiliate the Las Vegas businessman.

“Mr. Bieber’s celebrity does not give him a license to use the ‘N’ word,” the lawyer said, according to The Blast.

Cannon’s attorney goes on to claim that he was “sucker punched in the back of the head by one of Mr. Bieber’s babysitters.”

The Blast describes Cannon as a huge sports enthusiast who regularly has court side seats for the NBA Fianls and World Series. He’s a successful businessman who created the first and only Spanish show on the Las Vegas Strip, Illusion Mental. It runs at Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino.

Cannon’s attorneys scoff at the claims made by Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun, who alleged the lawsuit is a money grab filed for publicity: “This lawsuit was not filed for publicity. If that was the case, it would have been filed at the time the assault was first reported.”

They add that Cannon, who caught the winning puck during the Stanley Cup finals, “justifiably believes that Mr. Bieber should be held accountable for his conduct.”
