*After observing his guy, Pusha-T and Drake go at each other with a week of extremely personal revelations, Kanye West is calling for an end to the beefing.
“I’ve never been about beef I’m about love lines were crossed and it’s not good for anyone so this is dead now,” Ye said via Twitter about the nasty dispute between the two rappers.
Kanye of course is talking about the diss tracks that have been traded between Drake and Pusha-T. They started out with light barbs and simple disses, but things esclated with the revelation that Drake fathered an illegitimate child with an ex-porn star.
Drake appears to have been caught by surprise, especially after Pusha-T also dropped a never-before-seen shot of Drake in blackface. The “Hotline Bling” rapper had an explanation for the controversial image, but the damage had already been done.
As The Blast points out, it’s interesting that Kanye chose to make his peace announcement AFTER the release of his album “Ye.” Yeezy definitely rode the wave of media attention and excitement over his artist’s feud with Drake into the publicity for his listening party at his secluded Wyoming hideout.
Hmm, we can only wonder if Drake is ready to drop the beef and accept Kanye’s plea for peace. After all, he took the last shot and ain’t looking too good. You think Drake, of all people, is ready to go out like that?
