*While hosting her talk show on Thursday, Wendy Williams gave Kim Kardashian props for speaking out for prison reform while ripping her marriage to Kanye West in the process.
The queen of shade commended Kim for pushing for a pardon of 62-year-old great-grandmother, Alice Johnson, who’s serving a life sentence without parole for a first-time drug offense.
“You know what? Here’s my thing. She wants prison reform and that’s what she’s there for. She has 100 million followers on social media. I hate to say it, but her voice is more influential, apparently, than a lot of politicians out here trying to do the one two shuffle,” said Wendy.
“Her voice is more influential than yous or mes. I was shocked in our Hot Topics meeting, only two of us agreed this is a good thing she’s doing right here.”

Williams then said “people are gonna be pissed” if Kardashian is successful in getting Johnson pardoned, specifically people “who don’t like the Kardashians,” before adding this assessment of Kim’s lifestyle.
“I think Kim is bored with her money and unsatisfied with her marriage … you come here to hear it straight, right?” she continued. “But better than prison reform, why don’t you do something closer to home, do something for mental health. I’m not laughing about that, I’m serious.”
She went on to say that “the whole thing about pardoning Ms. Johnson” was “cute,” but suggests Kim should be more like her sister Kourtney and stick to topics that she has a better understanding of, such as cosmetics. In case you missed it, Kourtney recently visited D.C. to speak about updating cosmetic regulations.
“Kim though, you know what you need, there needs to be more mental rehab in prison, so when prisoners get out, they are rehabilitated,” Williams added. “Do something close to home, but I applaud whatever she’s doing trying to make things better for anybody else.”
Williams has also fired off a response to Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, after he popped off on her via Instagram.
“I don’t know why drake’s dad is mad,” she posted to Instagram. “All I did was recite Pusha’s lyrics.”
