*It should come as no surprise that that Nicki Minaj is NOT really dating Eminem. Minaj was just telling a big ol’ fat one when she seemingly revealed to a fan she and Eminem were officially dating. Seriously, did you really believe it?
Miss Nicki had the internet blazing on Friday after responding “yes” to a fan who asked her, “You dating Eminem???” on Instagram. Sources close to Minaj tell TMZ she was only joking … there’s nothing romantic between the two.
Mirage’s comment was buried in a thread within a video she posted of herself lip-syncing to her verse on YG’s new song “Big Bank.” The verse does however mention Eminem.
Minaj is no stranger to dating dudes in the music biz, she’s been with Nas, Meek Mill and was with Safaree for years. She and Eminem both appeared on Nicki’s “Roman’s Revenge” back in 2010.

In other news, Minaj said she had to cancel an upcoming appearance on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” on doctor’s orders.
The singer was scheduled to pre-record her appearance and make some sort of major announcement on the show, but was unable to make it because she had been advised by doctors not to get on a plane.
“I couldn’t fly out to shoot Ellen. (Doctor’s Orders). I’m sad about that. There’s an announcement I was going to make on Ellen. I’ll make it tomorrow via social media instead. Love you,” she tweeted, followed by a unicorn emoji.
Nicki didn’t reveal the illness, but it likely has to do with the promotion of her current album “Queen,” set for release on June 15.
Ellen has yet to announce a replacement for Nicki on her show.
