*During Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference Finals in Houston, rapper Travis Scott took a moment to recognize the victims of the nation’s latest mass school shooting.

Ten people, including eight students, were killed when a student opened fire in a classroom at Santa Fe High School on May 18.

After a moment of silence and the Santa Fe High choir singing the national anthem, Travis called attention to the Santa Fe HS students sitting in the crowd before delivering his speech.

The artist went on to praise first responders and school officials before the game, which was the first at Houston’s Toyota Center since the tragedy.
