Dr. Matthew Jenkins, DMV to Launch Book ‘Positive Possibilities: My Game Plan For Success’

*LONG BEACH, CA — Dr. Matthew Jenkins, DMV, whose autobiography shares his success as a veterinarian, entrepreneur, real estate mogul, and philanthropist will present his first book Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Bogarts Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center, 300 East Ocean Boulevard, Long Beach, California 90802 from 3 – 5 p.m.

As a Tuskegee veterinary alumnus and nationally-renowned businessman and philanthropist, who has rubbed elbows with the likes of former Presidents, Barack Obama and Ronald Reagan as well as Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and many other notables, he expresses his thoughts, methods, formula, tasks, and decisions to bring value to others.

Extremely methodical and strategically wired, Jenkins thrives on challenges and states:

“I see every challenge as an opportunity for me to become more disciplined, more focused, and more productive.”

One challenging aspiration achieved by Jenkins and his wife, Roberta is the launch of the Matthew and Roberta Jenkins Family Foundation, a vehicle for giving back.

The Jenkins’ have provided funds to launch the Claremont Long Beach Math Collaborative, a partnership between CGU, Harvey Mudd College, and the Long Beach Unified School District to provide math education for underserved communities, especially African-American high school students.

It is Jenkins’ desire to continue elevating urban education by finding the positive possibilities all around and sharing them through education, work ethic, integrity, and good human values.

About Dr. Matthew Jenkins
Dr. Matthew Jenkins is an Air Force officer, entrepreneur, real estate mogul, philanthropist, and so much more.  After receiving his doctoral degree in veterinary medicine, he conducted research in animal diseases in Greenland and later established a rabies eradication program in Greenland while serving in the U.S. Air Force. He decided to pursue other career interests and started several successful after-hour animal clinics in the Long Beach area, and a real estate and property management company in eight states.  He and his wife later established the Matthew and Roberta Jenkins Family Foundation that provides scholarships for African-American students.

Of his major accomplishments, serving as Interim President of Tuskegee University, Tuskegee, Alabama, his Alma Mater, has been the most rewarding.
