*Next time you’re looking through the help-wanted ads, don’t be surprised to see one in there for Kanye West as he’s now looking for a publicist to rep his revamped Yeezy company as well as his personal brand. Oh Lord. If you are crazy enough to apply, be careful. Be verrrrry careful.
OK, here’s the deal. According a report in The Blast, West says he needs a full-time in-house publicist who will be responsible for “All PR matters relating to Yeezy and Kanye West as a public figure.”
The part of repping Yeezy (the company) is a big deal in of itself, but having to rep West himself is going to take a special kind of person. Maybe one with no hair. That way, you won’t have to be constantly pulling it out after dealing his ongoing madness.
As was previously reported, Kanye unceremoniously parted ways with many of his closest confidantes during this latest creative kick. The artist had declared that he didn’t need anyone to “manage,” him, but it’s possible the last few weeks of his self-imposed media campaign had become a bit too much to handle solo.

If you’ve fooled yourself into believing you’re just what he needs, here are the qualifications:
Minimum 10 years experience in public-relations
Minimum 5 years working in a “top 20” PR agency
Minimum 5 years working in-house for a leading brand
Because he’s requiring “Global experience with healthy exposure to Asian and European markets,” it’s also obvious that Kanye is looking to make his mark around the world.
BTW, West has been holed up in Wyoming for the past couple weeks as he puts the finishing touches on some upcoming music, but it’s clear that his fashion and apparel company is still top of mind.
The listing doesn’t say how much the position pays, but in just the few days, over 100 people have already applied.
