*Jackie Chan’s daughter Etta Ng and her girlfriend have appealed for help because they claim they’re homeless.
In a YouTube video, the couple explained how every attempt they had made to find shelter through official channels had led to authorities trying to split them up.
According to Pink News, Ng, 18, came out last year, posting a photo on Instagram of her in front of a rainbow colored background, along with the caption: “In case no one got the memo, I’m gay.”
The announcement was followed by the hashtags #lgbtqai, #lgbt, #lesbian, and #androgynous.
When Jackie Chan was asked about his daughter coming out, the martial arts star simply said: “If she likes it, that’s fine.”

Sitting alongside her girlfriend Andi Autumn, 30, Ng said: “We’ve been homeless for a month, due to homophobic parents.
“We’ve pretty much slept other a bridge and other things.
“I don’t even understand what is going on because we’ve gone to the police, we’ve gone to the hospital, the food banks, LGBTQ community shelters, and all of them just don’t give a s**t,” Ng continued, reading from a sheet of paper.
Ng added: “So that’s why we’re making this video, because we don’t know what to do at this point.”
She expressed shock that “two people in love, that have true love, [could be] split apart,” adding that “they’re trying to f**k us over. I don’t understand it. I love her. I love you,” she added, turning to her partner.
“We just wanna let people know what’s going on, because at this point it seems ridiculous that no-one can help. I don’t understand,” Ng said.
The description of the post explains: “We had to read off of a paper due to PTSD and being extremely flustered about the whole situation.”
It continues: “At this point we have no where to go because the friend of Andi’s that is helping, can no longer house us. We understand people who are busy but this is a bit much.
“And now I can only turn to the internet for help as there is strength in numbers. We don’t know the next time we will have internet access so we might be off the grid for a while.
“All I know is that our love is stronger than this but we are getting tired of it. No one we know, family, friend or government services will help.”
Ng’s mother, former Miss Asia winner Elaine Ng, said the video was “wrong,” according to regional news site Coconuts.
“I feel that if they have no money, they should go find work,” she said.
“They shouldn’t film a clip telling others they are broke and who Etta’s father is. People all over the world work hard and don’t rely on someone else’s fame to get money.”
The former beauty queen added that the couple shouldn’t blame their parents, saying: “Many people in Hong Kong get paid low wages, but they still go to work.
“If they don’t have work, then they’ll film these videos to complain about their parents? How many of these videos would we see in a day then?”
She was asked if she had been in touch with Etta, to which she responded: “I don’t want to talk about it.”
