‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Premiere Shuts Down Hollywood (WATCH)

*EURweb was on the purple carpet as the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe took over Hollywood for the premiere of “Avengers: Infinity War.” The top secret film project pulls together all the Super Heroes from the Marvel universe in an attempt to takedown the powerful Thanos before he destroys everything.

The film’s release comes on the heels of the massive Marvel hit, “Black Panther” and is one of the most anticipated films of 2018. Chadwick Boseman will be reprising his role as “T’Challa” along with Winston Duke who returns as M’Baku the Wakandan warrior – he said Black women and “Black Twitter” have been among his biggest supporters – Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Don Cheadle as “War Machine” and Anthony Mackie as Falcon. It also includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt and Tom Holland.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe kicked off a decade ago with the arrival of “Iron Man” starring Robert Downey Jr. Now there are new fan favorites, in addition to “Black Panther,” there is “Dr. Strange,” “Thor” and the “Guardians of the Galaxy” crew.

Plus we spoke with newcomers Lashana Lynch and Michael James Shaw about the secrecy of joining a Marvel film.

“Avengers: Infinity War” is directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo, produced by Kevin Feige. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon Favreau, James Gunn and Stan Lee. It hits theatres April 27.
