As such, the brave young black man who took down the Waffle House shooter is now bringing together Hollywood liberals and notable right-wing conservatives. They’ve all joined forces to raise money for him!
From Snoop Dogg to actors Jon Cryer, Kristin Davis and Busy Philipps — along with conservative author Mike Cernovich — each have made significant contributions to a GoFundMe page for James Shaw Jr.
Snoop and other celebs wonder why Donald Trump hasn’t recognized Shaw for his bravery.
“If a Muslim shot up a restaurant full of white people, the ‘president’ would be tweeting up a storm, driving his dumb racist base into a frenzy.” Snoop posted on his Instagram account.
He added: “The NRA would use it as fodder for propaganda to scare dumb racists into buying more guns.”

In fact, Davis tweeted, “I just donated and it feels good! Good to help someone who stood up and did the right thing, thank you James Shaw Jr! And I love everyone who is donating too!”
The fundraising effort was launched by journalist Yashar Ali, who wanted to raise money for a college fund for Shaw’s daughter or to help him take his family on a nice vacation, whichever he chooses, TMZ reports.
Ali has raised over $106,000 of its $15,000 goal.
Shaw himself has also started a GoFundMe page to benefit the families of the victims. In just over 16 hours, it raised more than $20,000.
Meanwhile, Waffle House has offered to pay for the funerals of the 4 people killed in its restaurant in Tennessee over the weekend … when 29-year-old Travis Reinking entered with an AR-15 and opened fire.
A rep for the company says they will also help to cover the medical expenses of those injured.
Additionally, TMZ reports that “company honchos have developed a personal relationship” with Shaw and have offered assistance to him as well.
Reinking was arrested in a wooded area Monday after more than a day on the run. His motives for carrying out the shooting are still unknown.
