*R. Kelly is reportedly mounting a “comeback campaign” now that his lawyer, publicist and assistant all bailed on him amid the sexual assault allegations.

Kelly has been the subject of sexual misconduct crimes for years, but a recent documentary by the BBC, “R. Kelly: Sex, Girls and Videotapes,” examines the allegations of the singer’s sex cult of teenage black girls.

According to The Blast, Kelly’s team did not give any specific reasons for leaving, but reportedly all split in the wake of the documentary airing.

As noted by thefader.com, Kelly has been dropped by his lawyer Linda Mensch, as well as Diane Copeland, who worked as his executive assistant for over a decade. His publicist, Trevian Kutti, told Rolling Stone that “effective April 16, 2018, I no longer represent Mr. Robert Kelly.”

Meanwhile, Kelly continues “frantically” searching for representation, but most people will be iffy about being associated with him in the current climate, especially considering his long history of accusations which includes a child pornography trial. He was ultimately acquitted of those charges.

Sources tell The Blast that Kelly is “furiously” recording music in Chicago and hoping that his bevy of female fans will continue to support him.

A number of artists have spoken out against Kelly in recent weeks, including Jack Antonoff and Vince Staples, who described him as a “fucking piece of shit” at Coachella last weekend.
