*Just when we see pics of Kanye West smiling and looking like he’s enjoying being “normal,” comes news of him going left again. Oops, actually it would be more correct if we said going “right.” You see, his fans are absolutely freaked out and turned off because of his support for right-wing commentator, Candace Owens.
Folks on Twitter went nuts on Saturday after Ye posted a tweet complementing Owens, one of Donald Trump’s biggest cheerleaders.
An African-American conservative writer and commentator who frequently appears on Fox News, Owens is the founder of Red Pill Black, a website and YouTube channel that targets black conservatives. She’s also the communications director of “Turning Point U.S.A,” a non-profit right-wing outfit.
“I love the way Candace Owens thinks,” Kanye tweeted, sending Owens’ name to one of the top trends on the social media platform. “Only free thinkers.”
Owens – who considers herself to be “free” rather than far right – is definitely a controversial figure. As TooFab points out, last summer, she posted an essay in which she said “Black men getting shot by police isn’t racism.” And because of stuff like those words that’ve come out of her mouth, she is considers by many to be anti-Black.
It’s not clear which of Owens’ thoughts Kanye likes, but nevertheless, she was very flattered by Kanye’s shout out and now hopes to meet with him.

Also happy about Kanye’s embracing of Owens is actress and proud Trump supporter, Roseanne Barr. “Bingo” she replied to Kanye’s tweet applauding Owens.

Well, you can best believe actor Don Cheadle is definitely not a fan of “free thinker” Owens. He made his thoughts known about a video of Owens speaking at an event for “Turning Point USA” at UCLA, in which she talked about victimhood and how African-Americans shouldn’t call themselves oppressed, because of this a Black Lives Matter protest broke out. Owens called the protesters “toddlers” and Cheadle was quick to comment.

But it’s Kanye West’s fans who had no problem letting him know of their frustration for his support of Owens. Some even tweeted that they would no longer buy his music.
