‘Hustle & Soul’ Stars Dominic and Stefen: ‘Everyone On Reality TV Is Trying To Be A Celebrity’ [EUR Exclusive]

Hustle & Soul” stars Dominic and Stefen are serving up more than Chef Lawrence Page’s signature dishes at the Pink Tea Cup. The California natives provide patrons with a bit of comic relief and fans of the WE tv culinary docuseries are here for every minute of the laughs!

“We get a lot of positive feedback,” Dominic tells EUR/Electronic Urban Report, as he begins to read a DM he received from a self-described “superfan” from South Africa who hopes to meet him one day.

“We like to do good things. So we always base ourselves on people that are role models to us,” he adds, citing Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as an example.

But he also notes that being on reality television brings out the shadiness in people for one reason: Fame.

“Everyone on reality TV is trying to be a celebrity. They’re doing the best they can to start some beef with other people and make themselves look great, or they’re trying to do way too much to be that star,” he explains.

“Growing up, me and my brother were always outgoing and fun and stayed away from drama, so when we see everyone and all their drama on the show, which, we love who we work with, but it becomes a little too much,” says Dominic, with Stefen adding: “We just sit back and enjoy ‘cause this shit gets real fun.”

But the twins are also chasing that #famemonster, as they hope the series jumpstart their Hollywood careers as “comedy or action” movie stars.

“We want to entertain beyond TV. This show is a platform to have the world see us. Already from being on this show we’ve met with a pretty big agency for TV,” Stefen shares.

Last season, Chef Lawrence was on a mission to mold his staff into Michelin elite. For season two, he’s taking his spirited staff to Miami to help expand the eatery take the Pink Tea Cup to that next level. However, love triangles and staff drama threaten to destroy his dreams.

Despite the shenanigans that play out on camera, Stefen tells us that it’s nothing but love behind-the-scenes.

“We all have a great time together. We get along with everyone at the Pink Tea Cup and you guys don’t get to see it all, so that kinda sucks,” he says.

Meanwhile, he recommends all first-time foodies to the Pink Tea Cup try the smothered pork chop.

“If I’m not eating that on my lunch break, we order from this burger place down the street and I tell them no sauce and I have Lawrence make the smothered pork chop sauce to put on my burger.”

His brother, on the other hand, is all about the chicken and waffles.

“Even though that’s common at a soul food restaurant, Lawrence’s chicken and waffles are amazing. There’s something different in his ingredients that everyone needs to try,” Dominic states.
