*She gave it another try, but Vanessa A. Williams has reportedly decided to formally end things with her husband…for the second time.
According to TMZ, the “Melrose Place” and “Soul Food” star filed docs in Los Angeles on Monday to divorce Andre Wiseman, her husband since 1992. The couple had separated in 2008, and Vanessa filed for divorce the first time that year.
But that divorce was dismissed, for some reason, possibly because she’d let the filing lapse. According to TMZ, court records show nothing was filed after her initial divorce petition.
According to the refiled docs, Vanessa is asking for joint physical and legal custody of their 14-year-old son.
