*Mariah Carey is being accused of violating federal civil rights and fair housing laws in a new lawsuit from her former manager, Stella Bulochnikov, now going by her married name, Stella Stolper.
Once tasked with protecting the singer and managing her numerous crises, Stolper has filed legal docs stating that a lawsuit is about to be filed against the singer for violation of the U.S. Civil Rights Act, a Violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act as well as breach of contract, according to TMZ.
Further details have yet to surface, but sources say the suit also involves a large amount of money Stolper accuses Mariah of withholding.
You may remember Stolper as the no-nonsense Russian native who reportedly orchestrated Mariah’s E! reality show “Mariah’s World.” She also competed on Season 4 of “Last Comic Standing” while pregnant with her second child.
Stolper and Mariah were once joined at the hip until Carey cleaned house around a year ago. Stella was Mariah’s go-to person during her turbulent engagement with James Packer.
