*Vince Staples used GoFundMe to market his latest single (March 8) “Get the F— Off My D*ck,” asking folks to donate toward his ridiculous goal of $2 million, and matching the $2,022 he did manage to raise to give to his local Michelle Obama library.

The rapper originally announced the marketing strategy last week (March 7) after numerous fans complained that his performances were lackluster, according to Billboard.

“I’ll go the f**k away forever. You will never hear from me again: no songs, no interviews, no nothing. If not, you can let me choose to do what the f**k I want to do, when I want to do it,” he said in reference to the #GTFOMD campaign’s $2 million goal.

Not only did he bring it to an end on Wednesday night (March 14) after raising only $2,022, he also announced that he would refund each of the $2,022 donors and further revealed plans to give back to his North Long Beach, Calif. hometown.

“I am also personally matching the donations made and donating the full amount to the Michelle Obama library of Norf Long Beach… in honor of you citch ass n**gas. I love you all, good day. #gtfomd,” he tweeted Wednesday (March 14).
