*Kerry Washington visited “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday to tease the series finale of her ABC drama “Scandal,” and also how she channeled Oprah Winfrey’s iconic “You get a car!” moment for the wrap gifts she had delivered to the entire crew.
Concerned that the final days of shooting would be somber, the actress said she created a “Post-Scandal Survival Kit” full of things that crew members haven’t had time to do because of their 16-hour days…including a good night’s sleep.
In addition to a bouquet of flowers and fancy cleaning supplies, Kerry included a sleep tracker that helps the user get a restful slumber. “And I said one lucky crew member was going to win a mattress.”
“And…everybody got a mattress!” Kerry revealed, pointing at various audience members and yelling, “You get a mattress! You get a mattress! You get a mattress!”
“Scandal” ends its seven-season run on April 19th.
