*Turns out Cardi B cannot do it all.
The rapper, whose bloody shoes have been all over the planet for month – including a history-making turn Monday night as co-host of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” – has announced that she is bowing out of Britain’s Wireless Festival in July after confirming her pregnancy last weekend.
Cardi revealed her baby bump during a performance of her new song “Be Careful” on “Saturday Night Live,” and promptly pulled out of her appearance at the annual concert. Wireless Festival organizers delivered the news, but quickly assured fans that a replacement is in the works.
“Huge news over the weekend… Unfortunately this means she won’t be performing at Wireless this year,” they wrote on Instagram. An announcement about the line-up is expected on Thursday.
Wireless will still feature Cardi’s baby daddy Offset and his band Migos, DJ Khaled, Stormzy, J. Cole, Big Sean, and Post Malone.
The rapper did, however, did show up and show out for her stint as the first ever co-host of “The Tonight Show,” joining Fallon to chat with guests, play a round of “Box of Lies,” perform a new track from her “Invasion of Privacy” album tell jokes, with Donald Trump serving as her biggest target.
In a segment dubbed, “what’s up with that coat,” Cardi and Fallon delivered a barrage of Trump jokes, with Cardi saying at one point, “It looks like they put his butt implants on the wrong side.”
Cardi then made her way to Fallon’s “special chair,” forcing him to sit on a stool.
She said of her pregnancy: “I don’t know if it’s the strength of the fetus, but I have never felt so hungry to succeed.”
