*Three people were charged in Boone, North Carolina Thursday after police pulled over a tour bus for Migos and found a large number of drugs, reports USA Today.
Two out of three members of the group had just finished performing at Appalachian State University’s Holmes Convocation Center and the tour bus was leaving the venue when officers working security for the concert smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle, according to Boone Police.
Cops stopped the bus on North Carolina Highway 105 and conducted a search. In total, 420 grams of marijuana, 26 ounces of codeine and Xanax were seized. One person was taken into police custody and two were issued citations.
Jharon Ahmad Murphy, 26 of Snellville, Georgia, was charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, as well as misdemeanor possession of codeine. Daryl Irvon McPherson, 25, of Cleveland, Ohio was cited for simple possession of marijuana and codeine, and 26-year-old Dominic Kevin Spigner of Smyrna, Georgia, was cited for misdemeanor possession of Xanax.
After the concert, of which only Quavo and Takeoff allegedly performed, witnesses claim they saw police ransacking the band’s SUV and had “duffel bags” being searched, reports The Blast. Audience members claim Offset did not perform at the concert, and it’s unclear where he was.
