*Universal has released a first look at Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish in “Night School,” the comedy directed by Malcolm D. Lee, who helmed Haddish’s star turn in “Girls Trip.”

Hart’s character is forced to enroll in high school to get his GED after he causes an explosion at his business. Haddish is his no-nonsense night school teacher, who explains that she’s taken the gig so she can “make a little cash so that I can afford this warrant I got.”

The trailer also features “Saturday Night Live” alum Taran Killam as a principal who likes to “talk black,” and Ben Schwartz, an investment adviser and Hart’s friend, who wants to give his friend a job but can’t until he passes his GED. Mary Lynn Rajskub, Rob Riggle and “Insecure” star Yvonne Orji also star.

Hart co-wrote the screenplay for “Night School” and produces under his Hartbeat Productions banner alongside Will Packer and his Will Packer Productions.

Universal will release the film on Sept. 28. Watch the trailer above.
