*Maybe it’s not a good idea for Stevante Clark, the brother of the late Stephon Clark to do interviews ’cause it’s obvious he’s literally not ready for prime time.

Not only did he come unglued and started crying during his interview with Don Lemon Wednesday evening (03-28-18) on CNN, he also didn’t provide any substantive information even though Lemon tried to get it out of him. You wouldn’t be too far off if you concluded he didn’t intend to, either.

OK, we’ll say it, this young man may be grieving, but he’s either ACTING weird. Or actually IS weird.

In any event, during the interview, he also sat solemnly with his slain brother’s name hashtagged across his t-shirt, his seemingly bitter resentment over his brother’s death at the hands of Sacramento police became apparent as soon he responded to Lemon’s first question. When asked, simply, how he and his family have been holding up, Stevante Clark reacted with silence and then he rung a bell! Then more silence. After Lemon asked, “What’s that mean,” Clark simply said, “Next question.”

The perplexing (weird) response prompted Lemon to assume, openly, that the Clark’s actions were the result of him grieving. And it was at that point that the “Justice For Stephon Clark” protest leader became emotional.

“I’m not in grief. We haven’t slept, we haven’t ate. The media keeps following us everywhere we go,” he said, before struggling to get his words out about an initiative he says Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg has proposed involving the building of a library and recreational center in Stephon’s name.

Clark then proceeded with the interview on his own grounds; requesting that Lemon allow him to speak directly to Black people and agreeing to shut the entire engagement down after the host refused to say Stephon’s name.

Stevante, we know you’re grieving, but the weird/stupid/dumb sh*t needs to stop … ASAP. To say it’s not a good look is an understatement.
