Fabolous Facing Domestic Violence Charges – Snoop’s #1 on the Gospel Album Chart!

*We don’t know all that happened to get him in this report, but rapper Fabolous did enough bad stuff to get himself arrested. Now he facing domestic violence charges.

According to Englewood, New jersey police, the rapper, whose real name is John Jackson, turned himself in around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities say an alleged incident occurred earlier that day, but they would not identify the victim or say who reported it.

The rapper ended up being charged with aggravated assault and making terroristic threats. He was released Wednesday night.

Fabolous lives in Englewood with his girlfriend, Emily B, a former cast member on the “Love & Hip Hop: New York” reality show.

*Well, glory be! If you’ve be been keeping tabs of Snoop Dogg lately, you know he appears to be a different man. Who knew the legendary gangsta rapper would one day release a gospel album of all things? For those that don’t already know, he’s already done it and it’s sitting on top of the Billboard’s Gospel Album chart, where debuted! Yeah, how ’bout that.

Snoop’s album, entitled Bible of Love, according to Nielsen Music, moved 5,000 equivalent album units in the week ending March 22. Bible of Love is a 32-track double-album.

On Billboard’s Hot 200 chart, which tracks the sales of all genres combined, Snoop debuted at No. 148. Although at first, that doesn’t look like a number to brag about, fans must consider that Bible of Love is Snoop’s 25th entry on the charts. He’s been putting in work. Besides the fact that Snoop has multiple number one rap albums, he also has a number one reggae album (Reincarnated) to go along with his chart-topping Gospel album.

Check this out. Three songs from Bible of Love are also charting on the Gospel singles chart. “You” featuring Tribbett (No. 20), “Saved” featuring Faith Evans and 3rd Generation (No. 24), and “Blessing Me Again,” featuring Rance Allen (No. 25).

BTW, the Grammy-nominated entertainer recently opened up about the driving force behind the album during a powerful conversation as a guest on the Hollywood Confidential panel series in Las Vegas, recently.

Snoop explained his motivation for creating the project.

“With all of the negativity happening in the world right now, I figured it was time to do something positive to bring people together,” he said. “I did my share of bringing dark moments. Now it’s time to bring the light.”

He also revealed that the album is dedicated to the memory of his grandmother, whom he says never got to hear his music while she was alive because she disapproved of its “secular” nature.
