Back in 2006, FOX shot an interview with O.J. Simpson based his unreleased book, “If I Did It.” The interview was shelved after the families reportedly objected to Simpson profiting from the murders.
Tomorrow, Sunday, March 9, Fox will air the interview as a two-hour special entitled “O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession?”
EURweb’s Jill Munroe attended a private screening of the special and it provides a creepy look into the mind of Simpson. One of the most engrossing parts of the interview is when Simpson is asked to speculate about “what might have happened” the night his ex-wife Nicole Brown and waiter Ronald Goldman were murdered in 1994.
Simpson initially didn’t want to go into details, but forges ahead anyway, providing details and emotional explanations to theories brought up at the trial. It seem as if Simpson is providing first-hand knowledge, not hypothetical scenarios as he recounts the alleged events that took place.

There are conjectural explanations as to why one glove was missing, “Obviously I must have taken a glove off after the killing, given that one was found at the scene.”
He also suggests that the crime couldn’t have been done by one individual. He mentions a “friend” named “Charlie,” who riled him up to head over to Nicole’s place to “scare her” after Charlie reported seeing some activity he didn’t like at Nicole’s condo. He also said Charlie handed him the knife.
Simpson theorizes that he would have blacked out during the actual murders, noting that the amount of blood at the scene was “horrible.”
Executive producer Terrence Wrong said the decision to release the interview now comes on the heels of renewed interest in the case from the ESPN Academy Award winning 30 for 30 documentary “Made in America” and the FX drama, “The People vs. OJ.” The one component that separates this project from the others is having OJ speak in his own words. Production reached out to Simpson to let him know that a special would be airing, but he did not respond.
