*Spirits are still high in Tinsel Town thanks to the glitz & glamour of the Academy Awards, where one heartfelt story after another told of filmmakers whose journey to the big screen took many years and a dedicated team.
It is almost unheard of for a film to get pitched and produced with a major star attached in two months, but producer Oscar Generale has done just that.
Not only is Oscar well connected in Hollywood, he is skilled in the art of the deal. The most recent evidence of this is how he secured funding and an A-list star for Fred Durst’s movie “Moose.”
The writer/director’s dream came true when Generale brought John Travolta on board to star in the title role as a film fanatic with a penchant for action heroes. The hero in question is played by Devon Sawa (from Canada) and it’s his second film with Mr. Travolta.
They starred in “Life On The Line” directed by David Hakl in 2015. The current movie “Moose” is produced by Oscar Generale, and the project is done in collaboration with Create Birmingham (formerly the Cultural Alliance of Greater Birmingham in Alabama).
Travolta and Generale have previously teamed up on the films “Speed Kills” and “Trading Paint.” Daniel Grodnik is also a producer on “Moose” and the screenplay is written by Fred Durst and Dave Beckerman.
Production is almost complete on “Moose,” and Oscar Generale is finalizing details for another major motion picture with John Travolta. Talks are under way with Morgan Freeman & Forest Whitaker. From Cannes, to Malta, to Italy and Hollywood, Oscar Generale is trudging forth with fierce ambition, and soon he just might be Hollywood’s next big breakout star producer.
