*Fox has revealed the never-before-seen video of O.J. Simpson appearing to suggest that he murdered his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.

“O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession?,” airing Sunday (March 11) at 8 p.m., was originally titled “If I Did It” when the special was originally scheduled to air in 2006. The footage had O.J. offering a “hypothetical” account of how Nicole and Ron were murdered on June 12, 1994. It was scrapped at the time amid backlash from the victims’ families and the public at large.

Fox has decided to finally air the special – “coincidentally” opposite the premiere of its former series “American Idol” on ABC.

In a clip posted by TMZ, O.J. begins by saying how “difficult” it is for him to talk in the hypothetical. He then talks about the murderer’s friend, “Charlie,” and suddenly Simpson goes from talking in the hypothetical to first person.

And then the bombshell. O.J says “Charlie” told him he wouldn’t believe what was happening at Nicole’s house. Simpson doesn’t say what he was told, but added, “It’s gotta stop.” This, apparently, was the reason he drove over to Nicole’s.

In the clip, Simpson says “Charlie” was the accomplice and went with the killer in the Bronco over to Nicole’s Brentwood condo. He says the killer saw candles in Nicole’s window, looking like a man was coming over and suddenly Ron Goldman appeared. Simpson says the killer started screaming, Nicole came to the front door, the killer blacked out and when he came to he was covered in blood.

In the new teaser released by Fox, O.J. says at one point: “I remember I grabbed the knife. I do remember that portion.”

Hosted by Soledad O’Brien, the two-hour broadcast will air with limited interruptions and will feature public service announcements on domestic violence awareness throughout the program.

Additionally, O’Brien will be joined by a panel of analysts who will discuss the historic and newsworthy interview, providing analysis and context for the never-before-seen footage.
