*Wendy Williams is catching heat from Beyoncé fans for suggesting that she needs to use auto-tune.

During the Hot Topics segment of her talk show, Wendy discussed Fergie’s controversial performance of the National Anthem at the NBA All-star Game. She then noted that Fergie’s effort confirms that most artists need some type of vocal assistance.

“There are only a few people that can sing raw dog. And Fergie is not one, she needs auto-tune,” she said.

Williams listed a few A-listers that she believes need to use auto-tune, including Beyonce and J.Lo.

“J.Lo needs autotune. Janet [Jackson] needs auto-tune. Beyonce needs auto-tune.”

As you can imagine, the Beyhive is coming for ALL of Wendy’s wigs.

In an op-ed for CNN, tennis superstar Serena Williams revealed that she almost died after giving birth to her daughter last September.

“It began with a pulmonary embolism, which is a condition in which one or more arteries in the lungs becomes blocked by a blood clot,” Williams wrote for CNN. “This sparked a slew of health complications that I am lucky to have survived.”

Williams detailed how her C-section wound “popped open” after coughing fits and she had to undergo additional surgery to prevent blood clots from traveling to her lungs.

The 23-time grand slam champion also provided insight about childbirth complications for black women.

“According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, black women in the United States are over three times more likely to die from pregnancy or childbirth-related causes,” she wrote. “Around the world, thousands of women struggle to give birth in the poorest countries. When they have complications like mine, there are often no drugs, health facilities or doctors to save them.”
