*While Beyonce and Blue Ivy were busy snapping selfies at the NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles, Jay-Z’s was racking up a drink tab so astronomical that the bartender shared a photo of the receipt and posted it on Snapchat.
The rap mogul was celebrating the birthday of his friend Juan “OG” Perez, the president of his sports management company, Roc Nation Sports.
Jay skipped the All-Star game to take OG Juan and a group of Roc Nation execs to Zuma in Midtown for dinner, picking up the tab of $13,000. Then, the group headed uptown to Made in Mexico in Inwood, spending $9,000 on drinks, including Jay’s D’Ussé cognac, followed by a stop at nearby nightclub Playroom, where — even though they were, by this point, down to a group of six — they ordered and paid full price for 40 bottles of Ace of Spades Champagne, which is owned by Jay. The rapper was seen handing bottles out to other tables in the club. Also at the celebration was Jay Brown, Jay’s cousin Emory Jones and Desiree Perez, OG Juan’s wife and Roc Nation’s chief operating officer.
The Playroom tab (pictured above) was just north of $91,000, a mere drop in the bucket to Jay-Z, whose net worth is over $600 million, according to Forbes.
