*Fergie tried a new arrangement for the National Anthem at Sunday’s NBC All-Star Game.

It was not well received.

A murmur of laughter could be heard throughout LA’s Staples Center following the first line of her bluesy rendition, which ended with her growling “the dawn’s early light.” Twitter has not stopped laughing.

Fergie’s remix went on for more than two minutes, with Golden State All-Star Draymond Green perfectly capturing the stunned reaction of viewers when he was shown on the scoreboard and TV broadcast…mouth agape.

After a big finish, Fergie earned the most cheers when she shouted, “Let’s play some basketball!”

Charles Barkley said he “needed a cigarette” after Fergie’s performance during the TNT halftime show. Former Lakers star Shaquille O’Neal backed the singer’s rendition, saying: “Fergie, I love you. It was different. It was sexy. I liked it. Leave her alone.”
