*Tyrese‘s fans beware: jumping onstage to hug him when he’s not looking is a bad idea, as one overzealous stan learned the hard way.
The video above shows the singer performing his recent Valentine’s Love Jam set in Detroit, and as he wiped off his face with a towel, a female fan lunged at him.
Tyrese didn’t see her until she was right up on and delivered a stiff-arm shove until security could remove her.
He seemed apologetic once he realized the situation — but ya can’t blame him for protecting himself, per TMZ.

Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich continues to serve up his unapologetic opinion about race relations in America.
When asked about the importance of the NBA celebrating Black History Month, he stated, “I think it’s pretty obvious. Our league is made up of a lot of black guys. To honor that and understand it is pretty simplistic. How would you ignore that? More importantly, we live in a racist country that hasn’t figured it out yet.
“It’s always important to bring attention to it, even if it angers some people. The point is, you have to keep it in front of everybody’s nose and understand that it still hasn’t been taken care of and we still have a lot of work to do.”
