*Kenya Moore’s “pregnancy scare” on Sunday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” was fabricated in an effort to give producers a storyline that would save her job – if you believe a report from RadarOnline.com.

Citing “show insiders,” the gossip site claims Kenya had to come up with something after her new husband, Marc Daly, refused to be filmed for the Bravo series. Sources previously told Radar that producers banned her from the Barcelona trip, causing her to lose $100,000 for not being in the episodes.

So, she came up with the pregnancy storyline to keep herself from getting axed completely from the show, the source claims.

Via Radar Online:

“Kenya was in trouble with the production company after her husband refused to film with her at all. They told her she was going to get fired, and she had better do something to stay on the show,” the insider told Radar. “That was filmed after the women got back from Barcelona, not before.”

As Radar previously reported, Moore took a urine and blood test at the doctor’s office after saying she was “six weeks late” and hopefully pregnant. The doctor told her the urine pregnancy test was “inconclusive,” and that they needed to do a blood test for better results.

The source told Radar the producers did not believe Moore actually believed she was pregnant.

“No one believes a word that Kenya tells them. They knew she was desperate to stay on the show, so she made it all up. And it isn’t working, she’s getting fired after this season,” the insider claimed.
