*As the world’s greatest athletes compete in South Korea, and whatever the outcome, OUR ROOTS in the second week of Black History month, features these Nigerian girls who made history by being Africa’s first bobsled team to participate at the 2018 winter Olympics. Africa expects.

And this gentleman’s writings from humble beginnings written in Jamaican Patois and later in English language led to Sir Winston Churchill quoting from his poem.

TAYO Fatunla is an award-winning Nigerian Comic Artist, Editorial Cartoonist, Writer, and Illustrator. He is a graduate of the prestigious The Kubert School, in New Jersey, US. He is the creator of the Black History Cartoons, OUR ROOTS, which are used for educational purposes in books, newsletters, Journals, newspapers, online publications and also used for presentations.
