*After giving birth to her first child last week, Kylie Jenner has finally revealed the name of her baby girl: Stormi.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star revealed the name via Instagram on Tuesday. She was born last Thursday, and Jenner announced the baby’s birth on Sunday, a couple hours before the Super Bowl.

Prior to the name reveal, the internet believed Kylie and Travis Scott named their newborn after a butterfly. Many assumed the baby girl’s name was Mariposa (which is ‘butterfly’ in Spanish).

Love B. Scott reports how it all got started three days ago when Kris shared a snap of Kylie’s ‘Posie K’ Lip Kit to Instagram with the caption:

“So cute! One of my favourite @kyliecosmetics shades!! Posie K is launching as a limited edition trio set to celebrate the second anniversary! Feb 5 on #Repost @kyliecosmetics: ‘Say hello to the Posie K Anniversary Lip Trio! Featuring our award winning shade in gloss, matte and brand new velvet formula! Launching Feb 5 Just in time for Valentine’s Day!’”

Many speculated that ‘Posie K’ was a nickname for Mariposa.

The outlet also points out that Jenner is spotted wearing a butterfly necklace in one scene of the 11-minute pregnancy journey video. Later in the clip, she shows off her newborn’s nursery, which is decorated with colorful butterflies on the wall. At one point, the camera even zooms in on a children’s book that features a butterfly on its cover.

Adding to the speculation, Kylie and Travis got matching butterfly tattoos above their ankles back in June. And in November, she shared an Instagram photo of herself wearing several butterfly rings.
