*As promised for months, Donald Glover appeared to have officially retired his Childish Gambino stage name.
The “Atlanta” creator’s Twitter handle was changed from Childish Gambino to Donald, and the first tweet under his real name was a brief, glowing review of “Black Panther.”
“black panther was beautiful. We should keep celebrating. Who’s out here?,” Glover wrote after attending the premiere Monday night (Jan. 30). The tweet has since been deleted.

Also last night, Glover re-released his 2011 mixtape “EP.”
At midnight, the project became available across all major streaming platforms, a move done in combination with his creative agency Wolf + Rothstein.
According to Billboard…
Glover has partnered with Stem, an inventive distribution platform, for a boatload of surprises slated for 2018. EP’s re-release is the first of his many collaborations that he will push out later this year.
“Artists should never be in the position where the industry hinders their creative output,” Glover’s manager, Wolf Taylor, exclusively tells Billboard. “Our goal is to give our artists the ability to release content when and where they want. Partnering with Stem has allowed us to maintain our major label resources while providing us with a platform to independently release our special projects.”
