*A concert promoter has sued Kodak Black after he failed to make good on a paid concert performance when he was thrown in jail.

Corey Minniefield filed a lawsuit against the rapper claiming the rapper cashed his check for $45,000, even though he never took the stage, according to legal docs obtained by TMZ.

In the filing, Corey says Kodak signed the agreement on February 28, 2017. It was the same day he was arrested for violating probation. The promoter rescheduled him for a later date but he never showed again.

Minniefield is suing to get back the money he paid Kodak.

According to TMZ, Nicholas Fitts told a similar story in a legal letter his lawyer fired off to Kodak’s team, alleging that the rapper never performed in New York on March 3 – because he was in jail. The concert was rescheduled for April 15 and 29 but Kodak was still in jail for violating probation again when he hit up a strip club.

Fitts says he’s out at least $123,000 on various booking fees and wants his money back.
