*During a recent segment of her self-titled talk show, Wendy Williams explained how she’s sick of the #MeToo Movement, which was birthed on social media late last year to denounce sexual assault and harassment, in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations against Harvey Weinstein.

While discussing the daily/weekly Hot Topics, Wendy touched on how another movement has started that’s aimed to remove R. Kelly from the music industry amid the rise in awareness with #MeToo and #TimesUp.

“What is this 10 years too late,” she questioned, in the video above. Williams then explains how this new anti-R.Kelly campaign is not going to be successful because “black people aren’t really good at protesting.”

Meanwhile, the women who are leading the protest have reportedly canceled eight of his shows and are trying to get his upcoming New York show canceled as well.

Wendy points out that R. Kelly can’t be connected with #MeToo because Aaliyah volunteered to marry him when she was only 15-years-old.

“This has nothing to do with #MeToo, R. Kelly is just a very, very sick man.”

Later on in the video, Wendy states how she’s “sick of this #MeToo movement,” but adds: “I love that people are speaking up for the first time and speaking out and everything, but now it’s got, I look at all men like you’re a #MeToo, all of them, all of them, which is not fair.”
