Tourists Warned Not to Leave Resorts in Jamaica; 13 People Killed Over the Weekend

*”[Tourists] should follow local advice including restrictions in selected areas, and exercise particular care if traveling at night,” a Foreign Office spokesman said in a statement. “[They] should stay in their resorts and limit travel beyond their respective security perimeters.”

That message was issued by the U.K. Foreign Office which warned British citizens to stay in their hotels in Jamaica.

In other words, there’s a serious problem due to a rash of killings on the island.
