*Bruno Mars teamed with one-hit wonder Cardi B for the remix of his song “Finesse,” and the music video pays homage to the sketch comedy series “In Living Color.”
The show aired for five seasons from 1990-1994 and received an Emmy in 1990. Peep the series intro via the clip above.
The music video has Cardi and Bruno dancing on a stage that looks very similar to the iconic stage from the hit show and there’s even some Fly Girl-inspired dance choreography.
In the week since the video dropped, stars of “In Living Color,” such as the Wayans, Shawn, Kim, Damon and Marlon, have taken to social media to show love for the visuals.
“What an amazing tribute to # In Living Color! Made me emotional. Thanks for the love, Bruno. I’m a big fan!” Kim Wayans posted on Twitter.
