*Finally you’ll be able to find Tupac Shaker in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Pac was inducted Friday night (04-07-17) with a stirring from Snoop Dogg.
Snoop was poetic, calling Tupac a human contraction and going on to explain the late rapper’s range as a human being … calling him, for example, both courageous and afraid.
Snoop, a former label mate and friend of Shakur, says he attended the event to make sure the rapper, actor and poet is remembered as a “strong black man that stood for his.”
Everyone knows Uncle Snoop is a marijuana enthusiast, but did you know it was Shakur who introduced him to weed.
“That’s right — Tupac got Snoop Dogg smoking blunts,” he said to laughs from the audience.
Later, Alicia Keys performed a medley of Shakur’s songs on piano, including “Dear Mama” and “Changes.”

And there were musical tributes from T.I. Snoop, and Treach.
