Garner has been declared brain-dead with no chance of recovery after suffering a massive heart attack days before Christmas.

Garner suffered “major brain damage” from the heart attack she suffered on Saturday night, her family announced Wednesday. She’s at Woodhull Hospital in Queens. Family members were being called early Thursday to the hospital to say final goodbyes to Erica.

“Update: Cat scan shows Erica suffered major brain damage from a lack of oxygen while in cardiac arrest,” according to Garner’s Twitter feed.

Earlier in the day, Garner’s Twitter feed thanked supporters.

“She is still in a medically induced coma. Doctors will continue to monitor her over the next few days,” her team tweeted

“We appreciate your individual and collective prayers.”

Her father, Eric Garner, died in 2014 during a struggle with cops. 27-year-old Erica became an outspoken critic of police brutality after her father’s death.

RIPBeloved Atlanta news anchor Amanda Davis, 62, has died after suffering a massive stroke Tuesday night at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. She was awaiting a flight from the ATL to Texas to attend her father’s funeral.

Atlanta CBS affiliate WGCL first reported the news on their Peachtree TV newscast on Wednesday. Several friends and former colleagues from her more than 30 years in Atlanta TV called in to share their thoughts, per AJC.com.

The Emmy-award winning journalist had only been at WGCL as morning anchor for the last year. She spent 26 years at WAGA FOX5 but personal problems forced her to quit the airwaves in 2012 following a DUI-related arrest. Last year she opened up about her battle with alcoholism in an interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Davis leaves behind a daughter.
