*Jacksonville Jaguars fans have put their own spin on trash talking by literally having trash cans delivered to the Houston Texans – all because Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney called Jags QB Blake Bortles “trash.”

The comment inexplicably came after Jacksonville’s 45-7 victory over Houston Sunday.

With glee, Jaguars fans took to social media with pics of their trash can orders. The cans are addressed directly to Clowney, and some should start arriving before Christmas.

Bonnie Upright, a public relations professional in Jacksonville, claims to have come up with the idea, which she said just popped into her head early Thursday morning, reports ESPN. A few minutes later, she went on Amazon.com, picked out a trash can, plugged in the address and made the purchase.

“It’s Christmas. It’s the season of giving,” said Upright, who formerly worked with the Blake Bortles Foundation. “Let’s have a little fun with it. So I did.

Bortles’ threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns against the Texans, and his numbers in December were far from trash. He currently has a league-best 128.6 passer rating and his team is now on the verge of an AFC South title.

He did not mention Clowney by name, but he did address the comment Wednesday.

“If how we’re playing and how I’m playing, if that’s trash, then I’m fine with being trash,” Bortles said.

Clowney declined to talk about his comment or the Jaguars on Thursday.

Upright said Bortles’ comment made her feel OK about the trash can idea.

“It’s very Duval [County],” she said. “It’s how we roll in the 904.”
