*Mariah Carey had social media scratching its head over footage that appeared to show her seated in a chair or stool while signing autographs.
But when she stood, there was no furniture to be found, leaving fans perplexed as to how she was able to balance herself in the seated position so effortlessly and comfortably.
The moment happened at the AHF World AIDS Day Concert in Los Angeles last Thursday, when she stopped to signs some autographs from the stage. [Watch above.]
Some fans suggested that she must have mad core strength, while others believed her dress gave her support.
The majority, however, swear she was using an invisible chair:
